Once upon a social network Jacob Summers and Hayden Hall crossed paths. Although the distance between them was great, their eclectic taste in regards to music and film were virtually side-by-side. Naturally, they decided to start a band. After a handful of composition gigs and a successful album release Jacob relocated to Los Angeles so that the pair could focus on larger projects.
Cousin Video was formed in the summer of 2011…out of necessity. As the duo’s newest musical endeavor had begun to pick up more success; Their music was being used in film, international television commercials, as well as having radio airtime, it was clear that they were in desperate need of some unique music videos. Drawing inspiration from made-for-TV horror movies and raunchy Late-Night comedies the duo had found their groove. Before long their videos were being premiered on well-known entertainment blogs which led to their official venture into the world of freelance filmmaking. Together, they deliver a stockpile of skills, innovation, and exuberance. Whether they’re playing to a crowd or directing your newest video, Jacob and Hayden always bring their unique brand of weird.
